What's it like to work together?

My Approach

At Architecture of Wellness, counselling is a collaborative, personalized space for introspective adults who are navigating transitions, burnout, boundaries, or emotional overwhelm.

As a Registered Social Worker with specialized holistic training, I weave together somatic-based approaches and soul-supportive practices. Our work may include reflection, nervous system regulation tools, emotional processing, movement, or rest-based practices—always tailored to your needs and energy.


My approach is trauma-aware, body-oriented, and deeply attuned. Together, we move gently toward healing—not by fixing, but by reconnecting.  


Every client is different. That’s why I draw from a number of evidence-based modalities to support your journey, including:


  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): A relational model rooted in attachment theory, supporting you in deepening your emotional expression, building safety, and nurturing secure connection.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Supports you in exploring and harmonizing your inner “parts” (aspects of yourself), so you can access more self-awareness, inner safety, and live from a grounded, compassionate sense of Self.
  • Mindfulness & Somatic Tools: Practices to anchor you in the present moment, regulate your nervous system, and help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom.
  • Narrative Therapy: Helps you examine and rewrite the stories shaping your life—so you can step into the role of main character and shape your next chapter with clarity and confidence.
  • Neural Network Therapy® (NNT): An education-based approach that supports emotional wellness by rewiring unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns, creating new neural pathways that foster resilience, clarity, and meaningful change.


Plant Medicine Support

For those exploring or who have explored the therapeutic potential of psychedelics, I offer support to help you prepare for and integrate these profound experiences. Preparation involves creating a safe, grounded, and intentional mindset for your journey, while integration helps you process and embody the insights gained, aligning them with your personal values and goals. 


Through grounding, reflection, and somatic care, we work to transform insight into sustainable, embodied growth.

Holistic Wellness Tools

Alongside counselling and psychotherapeutic approaches I bring a wealth of holistic practices to our sessions, creating a truly integrative experience. Calming the nervous system is a foundational part of my work and will help you access the depths of healing you’re looking for. My holistic tools include:

  • Yoga (200hr Certified Teacher): Incorporating gentle movement and/or mindful breathwork into your healing journey.
  • Yoga Nidra Teacher & iRest Yoga Nidra (Levels 1 & 2): Deep relaxation techniques to help you access calm, clarity, and inner wisdom.
  • Reiki (Master Level): Energy healing to support emotional and physical balance.
  • Clinical Aromatherapy: Plant-based support for regulation and well-being

Each counselling session is grounded in collaboration and respect for your unique journey. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel brave, supported, and truly heard.

  • A Personalized Approach: We begin each session by checking in and exploring what’s most pressing for you that day.
  • Empowering Tools: I’ll share practical techniques and strategies that empower you to take an active role in your healing journey.
  • Integrated Modalities: Depending on your needs, our session may focus entirely on talking through challenges, or we may incorporate holistic practices. This could include mindfulness, breathwork, pulling cards, yoga postures to release emotions stored in the body, yoga nidra, or energy work to help shift what feels stuck.

Every session is a space for you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore what healing means to you. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, processing emotions, or seeking clarity, we’ll work together to create meaningful change at your own pace.
